“I’m all about convenience/simplicity when it comes to home food, so if I can make a meal in five minutes, I will. This Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal recipe is especially perfect for those days when you wake up at 11 and can’t decide whether to eat breakfast or lunch!”

Yield : 2 servings
Ingredients
3/4 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk alternative: oat, almond, soy—whatever you have on hand!
2 tablespoons cacao powder: look for Fair Trade when you can!
2 tablespoons peanut butter: choose crunchy or smooth, depending on your preference!
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon maple/agave syrup
Toppings:
1 banana, chopped: Look for organic and Fair Trade when possible
Drizzle of almond butter
Sprinkle of hemp seeds
Purely Elizabeth sea salt granola
Preparation:
Add all ingredients to a medium pot and cook over medium heat until all liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and scoop into a bowl.
Add toppings! Get creative and add more things if you’re inspired!
