Kahlea WilliamsI was born and raised in Wisconsin, by my single mother who grew up on a dairy farm. She grew strawberries in our backyard garden, and my first time tasting them was an epiphany. I never knew strawberries could taste so good. I was changed for life. I pursued a bachelor's degree in social work, and then later on, a master's degree in Health & Wellness Management. I volunteered, served coffee and taught yoga in the years between my studies. My passions lie in accessibility, policy advocacy, and community wellness (i.e wellness for ALL) in relation to food systems and sustainability. I believe good food that is culturally-relevant and consistently abundant is a right that should be afforded to everyone, not just those that happen to live in a well-resourced community. Any and all work I do in the food systems space will be in service to this goal.Check out Kahlea’s contributions below!Revelations in Foraging

Lily FalkLily is passionate about high quality food and spends a lot of her time experimenting in the kitchen. This passion for food and sustainability led her to work on a local orchard and later on a microgreen farm that distributes to restaurants in the Northeast. In pursuit of playing a role in shaping a more sustainable future, Lily earned a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and worked as an Environmental Consultant. Searching for more ways to create a positive impact, Lily left the environmental industry to work for a non-profit that is making the data and knowledge necessary to promote fair community representation in congressional redistricting more accessible.
